The TerraCotta solar rooftiles not only adapt perfectly to the colour of the surrounding rooftiles, they are also executed in a beautiful matte, which gives the panels an additional exclusive vibe since it resembles the material of the rooftiles much closer.
With over 3 million households having invested in solar panels on their roofs, the roofs that go without solar panels start to stand out more and more. Often there are clear and solid reasons that these roofs have not yet been covered and used for solar energy, since financially it would be very unwise not to place them. Of course it was also a challenge to reach maximum yield for TerraCotta. The terracotta colour does have its challenges and because of the nature of solar energy is bound to let go some of its yields compared to black solar panels. The results of all our development is however beyond expectations. Even though the yield is lower than that of black solar panels, we have been able to improve some percentage points. This makes us all the more confident to deliver the world our TerraCotta innovations. The first few are already delivering their power to buildings with a strong historical and architectural value.
